Folder Lock 7 ($40, five-day free trial) is a one-stop-shop for file encryption and data security. It’s impressive and affordably priced, and it fulfills basically every security need you can think of—making it a must-download if you need to secure your files.
Folder Lock's interface is easy to use, but a bit over the top in appearance. Not only does Directory Secured secure and cover up amounts and data files with an on-the-fly 256-bit criteria, it also defends USB pushes and makes purses to list and store important info such as records, on the internet security account details, and the like. The system goes even further with a good eliminate (shred) operate, information lockers (think Screen Briefcase), and the ability to run stealthily (that is, without any indication that it's operating).Version 7 of Directory Secured included an optionally available on the internet element so you can synchronize your information lockers to designer NewSoftwares' own storage space assistance. The assistance cost $5 per month for every 10GB—not the most affordable but relatively aggressive. The 10GB should be more than enough for only your secure information. Other useful features are indication in effort monitoring, and developing both regular and self-extracting security password protected zip data files. The system couldn't be any simpler to use, though the first time you lock and cover up a folder it can be a bit odd to go to a drive and see it closed, or to find a folder losing. Directory Secured keeps two services managing, but doesn't appear to effect performance. The system is completely security password motivated, so there are no accreditations to lose as with Windows Bitlocker. There's a expert security password for the system, which you need to administrate it, such as when you eliminate it. Version 7.1 of Directory Secured ameliorates my past issue about the interface. It's even simpler to use and a bit better-looking, but I still think it could use a more professional look. That said, the convenient interface (you can open your lockers from USB pushes on any PC using the convenient edition, which needs no installation) experiences less in this respect. Also, while the lockers are completely secure, be aware that the invisible data files and data files are invisible only while Directory Secured is managing. You may access them easily by simply startup from CD such as Ie8 Live or Separated Miracle.
